Methi Puri Easy Indian Breakfast

Methi Puri is a wonderful Breakfast recipe. It is a very popular Indian Breakfast recipe, you can have Methi Poori in brunch as well or you have Methi Puri in tea time snack or as a light meal. This Indian recipe is quick and easy to make once you learn the art of making Poori and at the same time Methi Poori is very satisfying and fulfilling food for the one eating it.
मेथी पुरी एक अद्भुत नाश्ता नुस्खा है आप मेथी पुरी को ब्रंच के साथ भी मिल सकते हैं या आपके पास चाय के समय नाश्ता या हल्के भोजन के रूप में मेथी पुरी है। एक बार जब आप पुरी बनाने की कला सीखते हैं, तो यह भारतीय नुस्खा शीघ्र और आसान हो जाता है और साथ ही मेथी पूरी बहुत ही संतोषजनक और भोजन करने वाले के लिए भोजन को पूरा करती है।


Ingredients for Methi Poori


  • 3-4 bowls wheat flour.
  • 1 bowl washed and pat dried fresh Methi leaves(Fenugreek leaves).
  • Salt as per taste.
  • 1 tbsp Red chilli.
  • 2 tomato.
  • 3-4 green chilli
  • 1 small bowl Coriander.
  • 3-4 garlic pods.
  • Some garlic.


Recipe Steps for Methi Puri / Methi Poori



  • Take coriander in grinder.
  • Add Garlic.
  • Add Ginger.
  • Add green chilli.
  • Add Chopped tomato.
  • Add Some salt.
  • And then grind into fine paste.
  • Now take wheat flour in a large utensil.
  • Add Methi (Fenugreek), While adding crush it with your hands.
  • Add remaining salt.
  • Add red chilli powder.
  • Add the grinded paste.
  • Add very little oil.
  • Now start kneading by keep adding very little amount of water.
  • Knead till the flour becomes soft.
  • After needing leave for 3-4 minutes to set.
  • Make small spheres out of the above flour.
  • Cooking
  • Add oil in Kadai.
  • Once heated take very little oil out of it in a small bowl.
  • Now take the rounded sphere and immerse momentarily in taken oil.
  • Now make poori (India bread) out of it with the help of Belan (An Indian style rolling pin).
  • Put the Poori in heated oil and fry till it becomes light brown.
  • Once fried take it out leaving the oil behind.
  • You Methi Poori is ready to eat.
  • Prepare the remaining pooris in similar way.

Serving

  • Transfer it to the serving plate. 
  • Present the Methi Pooris in a serving plate along with Coriander Chutney, Raita or tomato/Chilli Sauce.
