2 cups - Wheat Flour (Gehun ka atta)
1 cup - Semolina (rava/sooji)
1/2 cup - Clarified butter (Melted Ghee) [Edible oil can also be used but clarified butter is preferred]
1/2 cup corn flour
Little Salt as per your taste
Recipe Steps for Dal Bati / Dal Bafla
Take a bowl and mix wheat flour, semolina and corn flour in it.
Now add Clarified butter (ghee) into it in the amount mentioned and mix them well.
Make a stiff dough by adding little water gradually at a time. Knead very well. (The dough is not as soft as we make for roti (Indian bread)/chapati, it will be slightly hard)
Allow the dough to rest at least for 15 minutes.
Take 3-4 glass water in a wok or vessel and keep it on heat to boil.
Add some turmeric powder as it will give Bhafle a nice color.
Now divide the dough into equal portions and shape them like round balls as shown in the video.
Slowly Put all round balls in boiling water.
Leave them to boil for around 15-20 minutes.
Meanwhile keep microwave in preheat on 140 degree Celsius (284 Fahrenheit).
Once these round balls/bafla start floating, take it out and let them dry.
Leave it to cool.
Once cool keep them in microwave stand.
Cook it in microwave for 7-8 minutes or until they turn light golden in color.
Turn over the Baflas and cook it evenly on both sides.
Now mildly crush these baflas and dip in pure ghee (or as per your taste and diet).
